Which Durabilt Hammerlock Coupling Link Works on 5/16 inch Safety Chain
Published 04/15/2024 >
Question:
I want to replace my safety chains on my Rockwood tt. Being they are factory welded on tongue, my plan was cutting old off and using hammerlocks to attach to welded U. However not sure what size would fit into 5/16inch chain link on tongue end? TT trailer gvw is around 6000. Thank you!

Hey Dave, since you said your chain was going to be 5/16 inch the correct Durabilt Hammerlock would be the part # DU66MR which was designed for this size chain.
