Parts Needed To Install a 7-Way on a 2024 Toyota Highlander XLE with Factory 4-Way Flat Connection.

Question:

Hello, I have a brand new 2024 Toyota Highlander XLE with the tow package. The issue is I am trying to find out how to change the standard installed flat 4 pin connector to a 7 pin round to fit my camper. Thank you for any help since it has been a bit confusing researching parts here due to the number of products and compatibility issues. Paul M.

Excellent question Paul. We have our Install Kit # ETBC7 which will allow you to plug into the factory 4-way on your 2024 Toyota Highlander XLE. It also includes additional wiring you will need for installing a charge line and brake controller which your camper will need since it has a 7-way connection. I recommend using the Redarc Liberty # RED52VR since you can use the Mounting Panel # RED48FR to replace one of the blank fill panels on your dash. This will give you the best factory appearance for the brake controller in your cab.
