Parts Needed to Install Brake Controller and 7-Way on 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander with 4-Way

Question:

Bought a 24 Toyota Grand Highlander Limited Hybrid, and having the OEM 4pin hitch installed next week. Since our camper has electric brakes,I wanna install the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Brake Controller v3. What all do I need, for the easiest installation? And also to convert from 4 -pin, to 7-pin, first. And is the work fairly easy, or do you recommend installers in the San Diego area, or Mesa/Phoenix area? Thank you!

Hey Torben, to install the Redarc Tow Pro Elite part # RED44FR in your 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander that will have a 4-way installed in requires the 7-way brake controller install kit part # ETBC7 and you'd be set as this comes with everything needed.

The install of this kit isn't too bad at all but if you don't feel comfortable wiring I attached a link to a page that has a way to find a local installer to you.
