Question:
Hello I installed the timbren rear suspention system on my 2018 Ford F150 to help with bounce while hauling my camper. I am planning on putting a small truck camper on my truck [ 1500-1600 lbs] . My question is , would it be worth installing one of your leaf spring enhancement springs to help with body sway or will the timbren s be sufficient. Thanks Steve M

Hey there Steve; thanks for writing in and when it comes to body roll and sway for your 2018 Ford F-150, the better option is the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit, with the right one depending on if your F-150 is 2WD or 4WD:
- 2WD: RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS3611-B
- 4WD: RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS3611-Y
Honestly, I would go with these over the Timbrens # TFR1504E, and frankly not even both with the Timbrens. They can certainly be added together, but it's somewhat of overkill, and the RAS will do a better job of handling sway and also bounce. The RAS will engage actively, meaning right as sway/roll/bounce happens they give your truck support, while the TImbrens won't help until your truck is already sagging/swaying.
So I definitely think it's worth it to add the leaf spring system, and I'd start with that over the Timbrens, and if you feel you still need Timbrens (which I don't think you will), you can always add them later.
