Recommended Leaf Springs for a Coachmen Apex Ultralight 284BHSS

Question:
I have a Coachmen Apex ultralight 284bhss. The 4 layer leaf springs are completely flat. I want to replace them with heavier 6 layer springs also to give me a little more clearance. What is the eye to eye measurement for my tandem axle setup?

Expert Reply:
In order to get the eye to eye measurement of your leaf springs you will need to jack up one side of your trailer and measure your current ones with the weight off of them. Since leaf springs flatten over time this is the best way to get the most accurate measurement possible. There's no database available that will tell me what size springs your Coachmen Apex Ultralight 284BHSS has.
I have linked an article below that will help you out. Feel free to email me directly or comment below once you get that measurement and I'll be happy to find you a set of leaf springs.
