What Info is Needed to Pick Out Replacement Gas Shock for Camper

Need a gas shock for a 2018 Coachmen Leprechaun 311 FS. The original was removed so I have nothing to compare. There is a ball on one end and the orther appears to slide into a socket lack of a better word on the door.

Hey Richard, to pick out a replacement gas shock I'd need to know the compressed and extended length you need as well as the weight of the door. For example, the part # 372-5300-20 has 20 lb of force and has an extended length of 20 inches and a compressed length of 11.41 inches.

Your 2017 Lance 1475 has the Dexter #10 torsion axle. The lift kit for that axle is #K71-707-01 like you referenced and will give you a lift of 2-5/8 inches.
