Recommended Replacement Roof Vent for a MaxxFan 00-8951K

Updated 03/28/2024 | Published 03/19/2024

Question:

We have a MaxxFan Deluxe 4 speed #00-08951k in our trailers bathroom It’s not working right. Push the button to open it and it rises a little bit then closes. I’d like to buy the entire new fan again and just replace the fan and leave the part that is in the roof, so not to mess with the roofing. I can’t find the exact same model number fan. Will one of the new model numbers fan fit in the opening of my old fan? Thank you Michael Carson

Michael, we actually don't have any replacement fan blades for MaxxAir fans unfortunately. We do have replacements for Ventline roof vents like # BVD0215-00 which is going to be smaller than the one you currently have but could still potentially work.

Other than that, since your unit is on the older side you'd likely have to just make a complete swap with a newer fan like the MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan, Thermostat, and Remote # MA00-07500K.

@CarsonM Yes, the MaxAir # MA00-06401K you're looking at would replace your fan.

@BryceD Does this fan hook up to our existing wall switch that turns on the fan and opens the lid? Anyway, I ordered the new circuit board for the fan to see if that works Thanks

@CarsonM The MaxxAir # MA00-06401K is only going to be controlled by the integrated key pad so it's not going to work with the wall switch you have.
