Yes, the Draw-Tite ball mount # 2923 will fit your 2024 Tesla Model Y with the factory towing package since it uses a standard 2-inch hitch receiver. The main thing to verify is whether the 2-inch drop or 3/4-inch rise will keep your trailer level while towing.

To check that, park both the Tesla and trailer on level ground. Measure from the ground to the top inside edge of the hitch receiver on the Model Y. Then measure from the ground to the bottom of the trailer coupler where the hitch ball sits when the trailer is level. If the coupler measurement is lower than the receiver height, you’ll want a drop. If it’s higher, you’ll want a rise.

For example, if the receiver height measures 18 inches and the trailer coupler measures 16 inches, the 2-inch drop on # 2923 would be a great match. If the coupler sits slightly higher than the receiver, you can flip the ball mount over and use the 3/4-inch rise position instead (please refer to attached image).

For a hitch ball, a great option is the etrailer 2-inch Hitch Ball # 63845. It has the correct 1-inch diameter shank to fit the ball mount and a 7,500 lb weight capacity that matches well with # 2923 for most small trailers, utility trailers, and lightweight campers.

@Howard We have some great options for you: The Anti-Rattle Trailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" Hitches, 3-1/2" Span # 63232 is a great option. It will function as a lock while also helping reduce movement and noise in the hitch. If you’re just looking for a standard locking hitch pin, the etrailer Hitch Receiver Lock for 2" and 2-1/2" Hitches, Flush, 3-5/8" Span, Chrome # e98881 will work well. U-Haul trailer couplers typically sit around 18" high. To make sure you get the right ball mount for level towing, I recommend measuring from the ground up to the inside top of your hitch receiver on your 2024 Tesla.
