What Bolts Are Needed For MORryde Suspension Kit For Correct Track

Question:
Followup question about the MR58ZR. I have a 2013 Dutchmen Infinity with tandem 7000 lb Lippert axles, with factory Equaflex Trailair equalizer. Has stock 2-1/4 inch shackles. Currently, all 14 shoulder bolts are 2.9 inch working length from end of bolt to underside of head. I intend to install your 3rd Generation Correct Track RR23QX, and heavy duty shackles. Because the new shackles are 1/2 inch thick, it makes sense to me that the 8 of the replacement shoulder bolts would be about 1/2 inch longer or 3-3/8. But what is unclear to me is the needed length of the other 6 shoulder bolts. If the Correct Track plates are 1/4 inch steel, then it seems those bolts would also need to be the 3-3/8. The instructions are unclear, but I think the alignment correction plate takes up the 1/4 inch slop to achieve the proper fit around the leaf eyes. After installing the Correct Track hanger extensions on all three pillars with that included hardware, it appears to me that all 14 shoulder bolts would need to be 3-3/8 inch long. However, the MR58ZR has two shorter bolts that are 2-7/8. My guess is that perhaps earlier generations of Correct Track had a different solution. Is there a different kit available with all 14 bolts 3-3/8, or can you include the correct length bolt? Or am I misunderstanding something?

Hey Mike; first, thanks for all that detailed info, and second, everything you said was 100% correct so you aren't missing a thing. You do indeed need two longer bolts with the third generation Correct Track # RR23QX.
The MORryde Suspension Upgrade Kit for Tandem Axle Trailers w Correct Track - 2-1/4" Shackle Straps # MR58ZR comes with twelve 3-3/8" long bolts and two 2-7/8" long bolts when they should all be 3-3/8" long.
Your explanation about the previous Correct Track generation seems to be spot on, so I don't know why MORryde has this for the current version of Correct Track. Unfortunately they don't offer a whole kit with all 3-3/8" bolts, but they are offered individually if you want to go that route with a replacement 9/16" x 3-3/8" bolt (the same size as the MORryde) from Lippert, part # LC126197.
