Will Thule Cargo Boxes Fit On Thule the Thule TracRac

Question:

Hello, Has anybody come up with a solution to connect a Thule rooftop carrier to TracRac bars? If so, what might that be?

Absolutely, Henry; the Thule Force XT XXL Rooftop Cargo Box # TH6359B has been tested and works beautifully with the Thule TracRac.

As long as the TracRac you've got is actually made by Thule, I.e It's got their branding on it then this box will work fine. If not, then the bars will be too large and the box won't fit.

Hi Brian - thanks for your response. My question was a bit unclear. I'm asking if there is a bracket kit that would be able to connect any older Thule rooftop carrier, like the Evolution, to the Trac-Rac bars. Yes, the standard clamps that come with the Evolution are not wide or deep enough to connect to the bars.

@Henry Hey Harry, in that case you'd need to either swap out your cargo box with a new one that uses the new Quick Grip mounting clamps, or if you're okay with modifying your current box, then you could swap the current mounts with # TH05738 & # TH8523387001.
