Question:

If I order the GY33GR, will it come with the new snap latch coupler? Also I will be using this on a 2023 Grand Design Reflection 341RDS. Do I need any spacer plates and is this the correct model for my 5th wheel? I will be towing with a 2019 Ford F250 6' 3/4" bed. Can I use the B&W 4" offset ball to gain more clearance for turning radius as well?

Hi Vince,

Gen-Y switched production to the newer Snap Latch in December 2023 so anything manufactured from January 2024 and forward would come with the new latch. This is a direct-ship item so you'd be getting it directly from the factory, which would lead to a greater chance that you'll get the Snap Latch since we almost a few months into the year.

To determine if this is the correct fit for your Reflection you'll need to determine the bolt pattern for the trailer as well as the fully loaded tongue weight. There's typically a white sticker that lists the RPO #, LCI Item #, and Serial # that I can use to determine the pattern. If you don't have the sticker and the pin box doesn't have Rhino listed on it anywhere then you'll want to follow the measurement guide I've attached below.

I've attached a chart below showing the tongue weight ranges and how they match up to the pin box. With your trailer's GVWR being 13,995lbs you'll most likely have a tongue weight that falls under the 3.5K models like part # GY98GR. You'll also need to pick up some safety chains # GY49GR since this will not come with any.

You can use an offset ball for more clearance but you'll need to make sure you get the correct one for the gooseneck hitch that your F-250 has:
