Question:

I have a Lippert Rhino 5th wheel Item # 2022071039 S/N S009890405 on my Brinkley z3100 Serial# 0081, so it was one of the first made. I reviewed your site, but wonder if I could use the GH 8055AL or the GH 8066AL to change to a Gooseneck hitch from my Demco. I will be adding a generator to the trailer which is pre-wired for it - weight is about 225 pounds. Could you provide some advice?

You can replace the Lippert Rhino pin box on your Brinkley 5th wheel. The right one though is going to depend on the pin weight of your trailer. Here are the options that will work to replace the Lippert Rhino:

- Pin Weight of 1,500 lbs - 3,500 lbs: Gen-Y Hitch 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # GY98GR

- Pin Weight of 2,500 lbs - 4,500 lbs: Gen-Y Hitch 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # GY33GR

- Pin Weight of 3,500 lbs - 5,500 lbs: Gen-Y Hitch 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # GY23GR
