We have two e-bikes which are fairly heavy. Is it possible to drop the gate, load the bikes into the bike rack and then put close the gate? To unload the bikes could you do the opposite? Warren

@Warren There's nothing stopping you from doing that but I think you'll find that it's pretty difficult to close and open the tailgate with the bikes on it. That said you could always try it. I'd probably first try the unloading process like that.
