I needing to replace GC6AA-10E water heater but cant find anything that is same size for my cut out

The best replacement water heater for your Atwood GC6AA-10E is the Dometic RV Water Heater # DMC74FR which needs a cutout of 12-3/4" tall x 12-3/4" wide x 19-7/8" deep to fit. Then you just need a door like the 12-3/4" # DMC58FR to complete the setup.

Since the Atwood water heaters have been discontinued there aren't very many exact replacements for them anymore, but this Dometic option is about as close as you're going to get.

Hello I purchased the recommended replacement and it’s too small. Am I supposed to build a frame around it ?

@Monica Yes, that is common issue when replacing the GC6AA-10E water heater. You'll need to build up a frame to install the Dometic RV Water Heater # DMC74FR.
