I have a 2012 Jeep Liberty Sport with a brush guard need know which base plate I need. Thanks

If you have a brush guard and you're not referring to the factory rockguard or skid plate you will most likely need to remove it to flat tow your 2012 Jeep Liberty. All of our base plate kits like the Blue Ox item # BX1131 bolt right to the front bumper below the grill. This an extremely sturdy mounting point which is why most brush guards attach there as well.
The Blue Ox item # BX1131 has been confirmed to fit the 2012 Jeep Liberty with or without the factory rockguard or skid plate. I have linked the installation instructions below along with an installation video so you can compare the mounting points to your existing set up with the brush guard.

Tow Bar and Safety Chains - etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar item # e47ZR
Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267
Supplemental Braking System - Blue Ox Patriot Radio Frequency item # BLU37TR
High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter.
