Built for serious towing and high-speed travel, the Triangle 215/75R17.5 heavy-duty radial carries a Load Range H rating and a speed rating L (75 mph). With a ply rating of 16 and a maximum load of 4,805 lbs at 125 psi for single tire use, it’s made to handle demanding hauls without breaking a sweat. It meets DOT specifications and exceeds FMVSS standards for dependable performance mile after mile.
This tire uses all-steel belts for toughness under heavy weight and long-distance use. The deep, rugged tread and wide shoulders promote even wear, while the premium rubber compound keeps traction strong on wet or dry pavement. It’s the kind of construction that stays stable under pressure and keeps rolling straight when you’re fully loaded.
The radial design keeps the cords positioned at a 90-degree angle to the direction of travel, cutting down on friction inside the tire. That means less rolling resistance, reduced heat buildup, and longer tread life—exactly what you want when you’re logging highway hours in summer heat. The result is smoother steering and a steady feel at higher speeds.
Every Triangle 215/75R17.5 comes backed by a 1-year worry-free guarantee. If the tire is damaged in any way within the first 12 months, it will be replaced at no charge. It’s an extra layer of assurance that your investment is protected from day one.
1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Triangle 215/75R17.5 Heavy-Duty Radial Tire in a Load Range H. Now, this is a Triangle Heavy-Duty Radial Tire. It is designed for use on trucks, buses, and large RVs, and they do use all steel belts to enhance the durability and extend your tread life. If you look at the tread, it's a computer-generated tread design and premium rubber compound materials. They give you superior traction, wet or dry conditions.
The tire does meet the DOT, Department of Transportation specifications. A few specs on this, this tire fit on a wheel size 17 1/2 inches by 6 3/4 inches wide. The tire size, which will be stamped on the sidewall, right there, you can see 215/75R17.5. The R means that it is a radial tire. Section width on this tire is gonna be 8.5 inches.
Overall diameter from the bottom to the top is 30.2. This is a Load Range H, which means it's a 16-ply rated tire. So, the maximum load on this tire, if it's used in a single-tire application, is 4,805 pounds at 125 PSI, and if it's used in a dual-tire application, 4,510 pounds at 125 PSI. Last thing I do wanna mention, this tire does have a speed rating and it's stamped on the sidewall by a letter designation. Where you'll find that is right after the tire size.
You'll see two numbers for the load index, and then the letter L. Speed Rating L will mean this has a 75 mile per hour speed rating. But that should do it for the review on this Triangle 215/75R17.5 Heavy Duty Radial Tire in a Load Range H.

Sorry about that, Joshua. I'm surprised these were that old as we tend to go through them fairly quickly. I will say these are stored out of the elements and the warranty doesn't start till you receive them, so you will still get a full life out of them. That said, we can reship replacements out to you if you would like. Have you mounted these yet?
