What is the best 5th wheel for my Ford F-350 short bed. It did not come with the in bed hitch.

I feel the Demco Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM8550037 is going to be the best option for any short bed truck like your 2024 Ford F-350. This hitch will automatically move back up to 14" as you turn to ensure you have enough cab clearance and do not have to manually move the hitch multiple times. The hitch will mount using the Demco Underbed Mouning System # DM32GV so you will not have above bed rails which interfere with sliding things in and out of your bed.
Should you ever need to tow a gooseneck trailer they have the Hitch # DM5988 which will use the same mounting points so you can easily switch whenever you need.
The Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness # 41157 will allow you to install a 7-way in your bed. This will protect your wiring from damage or damage to the bumper mount connector.
