A follow up question. I want to know if I need anything else with the DM8550022 to hook up to a Curt Rota-flex? I have ordered a fifth wheel that has the Curt Rota-flex and I want to buy the Fifth Wheel Hitch: DM8550022. Just double checking. Thanks.

The combined weight of the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Single Jaw - Underbed # DM8550022 and the rail kit part # DM8551010 that fits your 2019 Chevy Silverado 3500 short bed is 374 lbs.
You should note that this does not count against your payload as that is the weight capacity of the truck bed whereas this attaches to the truck frame directly for supporting the weight.

Thank you. Then what is the weight of just the hitch? I ask because I would like to know how heavy it is if I want to remove it from the truck to make use of the full truck bed.
