To add a brake controller to your 1993 Dodge Ram truck, a great option is from Curt:

- Curt Discovery NEXT Trailer Brake Controller # C84VV

I like the # C84VV because it's a no-frills, easy to use, economical option that'll just get the job done - activating your trailer brakes. There are settings for the amount of braking you want, an LED display that shows the power output, and an auto shut-off.

So it's really simple but also effective, and the only other thing you will need is the Wiring Adapter for Curt Trailer Brake Controllers # C51515.
