I have a TIEDOWN Model 70 surge brake actuator. Looks like it is a 7000 lb cap. ...What would be the replacement for it?

HI Jamison; nobody makes an exact replacement for the old TDE 70 style so the best option is one that bolts onto the top of your trailer tongue. I recommend the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator # DM72VR (drum brakes) or # DM62VR (disc brakes). These fit a 3" wide tongue and feature the EZ-Latch coupler mechanism which lets you hook up with the latch in the closed position.
