Do you have an option for the rod carrier that would allow the bracket to attach to a T-slot rail? That would be ideal imho and just require a new bracket to the existing rod.

For a more conventional rod carrier you can use the Yakima TopWater Rooftop Fishing Rod Carrier item # Y04088 with the SmarT-Slot Mounting Kit item # Y04094 to attach it to your vehicle's t-slot rail. This carrier measures 101" long x 18" wide x 9" tall and fits up to 8 poles that are up to 8' long.
