Is there any way to raise the fat cat evo 6 rack up off the mounting bar of the load warrior? The old powder hound racks had lifters for this.

I have a solution for you, but it's not anything that changes the connections on your Yakima FatCat EVO 6 # Y03096 as that's not something I'm aware of being available for this particular application.

I think the best solution to raise an accessory off the base of your Yakima LoadWarrior Basket # Y07070 is by using the Replacement Loadbar For Yakima LoadWarrior # 8870042. This load bar is designed to attach to the 1" diameter bars on the LoadWarrior and is 38" long, and will provide you with a mounting solution for accessories that is lifted out of the basket. You will be able to mount your Yakima FatCat EVO 6 # Y03096 to this 1" diameter bar since it's compatible with round bars.
