Easiest Tire Chains to Install on a 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander with 255/55R20 Size Tires

Question:

I need chains for 255/55R20 Tires for a Toyota Grand Highlander. Looking for something really easy to put on only for occasional emergencies not every day use

The easiest set of tire chains to install on the 255/55R20 tires on your 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander are the Konig K-Summit Tire Chains # TH02230K77. The initial setup takes a bit of time but once you have all the pieces in place and set for next time, the installation isn't too bad. I actually had the opportunity to shoot a video of this installation on an Audi that I've linked for you to check out.

If this is only for emergency use then you might consider something a little more cost-effective like the Glacier Tire Chains w/ Cam Tighteners # PWH2228SC. These use twist links which are just fine for getting unstuck but the installation requires you to get under your vehicle. It isn't difficult, but it isn't as clean and easy as the K-Summits are.

Be sure to check your owner's manual on any guidelines for using tire chains. I tried looking it up but I wasn't able to locate anything.
