Question:

We are upgrading to a 2024 Trailblazer here shortly and it doesn't come with a hitch. We're currently using the TH934XTR 4 bike rack but I might want to get something a little nicer in the near-ish future as well. What hitch and what bike rack do you recommend?

I recommend installing the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT55GR on your 2024 Chevy Trailblazer because it has higher weight ratings than the other options that fit your vehicle, but it installs the same way so it's simply just a stronger hitch receiver.

When it comes to a bike rack, the Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR is a solid choice but we do have some different choices that are easier to use and can give you unrestricted access to your rear hatch area.

For your application I recommend checking out the Thule Apex Swing XT # TH9027XT because it has the same basic design as the Hitching Post Pro, but it also includes some better features like more spacing between the bikes, integrated bike and rack locks, and a swinging arm to get the rack out of the way of your rear hatch without removing the bikes!
