Trailer Brakes and Hub/Drum Fitment with 2K Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension

Published 12/13/2023

Question:

Brief summary: Im attempting to add axle-less suspension and electric brakes to my trailer, but Im not sure what brake drums to get. Parts Id like to use: Axle-less suspension: Timbren SKU# ASR2000S02 Electric brakes: Item # AKEBRK-35-SA Now my questions: 1 - The GVW of the trailer will not exceed 2,000 lbs, are the parts listed above acceptable for this application? 2 - Are the parts listed above compatible with each other? 3 - What drums, bearings and seals would I need to complete my build? 4 - Would you recommend an entirely different approach for purchasing the needed parts? 4.5 - If yes, what parts/kit would you recommend?

The 2K Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension # ASR2000S02 will work great with the 10" etrailer Electric Trailer Brakes # AKEBRK-35-SA!

To complete your setup you need the 10" Easy Grease Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly for 3.5K Axles # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K.

Everything that you're looking at will work great together. The only other things you need to get are some tires and wheels, and for that I recommend checking out the Kenda Karrier ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire with 13" Black Mod Wheel # AM31990.
