Finding The Correct Replacement Bearings And Seals For A Bix Tex Trailer With 5,000 lb Axles

Question:

Hello, I have a big tex 10ET with 5000 lb axles. Can you tell me what bearings and seals I need for this trailer? I cannot read the tag on the axle, so unfortunately thats all the info I have. Thank you for any help you can give me.

I am happy to try to help you find a bearing kit for your Bix Tex trailer. Unfortunately we are not able to recommend a bearing kit based off of just the axle capacity. One way to find out your bearing sizes would be to have a Bix Tex dealership run your VIN. If the axle tag is not readable though, this might not be an option. Aside from that, the only way to really know your bearing sizes would be to remove a hub and unpack the bearings. Each bearing should have a number stamped on the edge, or you can measure the inner and outer diameter with a caliper. If you can provide the inner and outer bearing number/sizes we can definitely recommend replacement bearings and seals.
