Will The Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE HLY84FR Work With Lectric 3.0 Step Thru Bikes?

Re: Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2 Hitches - Frame Mount We have 2 Lectric Bikes 3.0 Step Thru. Will the locking arm lower far enough to hold the bikes in place? If not, do we need an attachment? Thank you.

In order to use the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE # HLY84FR with your Lectric Step Thru Bikes, you likely will need to use an adapter bar # HRBA-PRO. This way the hooks will have something to connect to. Otherwise the hooks would not go low enough to connect to the step thru frame.

If I may make a suggestion, the Hollywood Racks RV Rider # HLY64FR will work nicely for your Lectric step thru bikes without the need for an adapter bar. The clamps on this rack can attach to any part of the frame, and do not require the bike frame to have a horizontal crossmember, making it ideal for step thru frames. With most step thru bikes, the clamp will attach right underneath the seat. The rack itself can hold two bikes weighing up to 80 lbs apiece, so it will be plenty strong even for heavier E-bikes. It can also accommodate tires up to 5" wide.
