Which Has Smoother Ride Quality a Goose Box or a Trailair Pin Box

Question:

I have an air ride trailair 5th wheel pin box currently on my toyhauler. I have the bandw companion slider in the bed. I’m unable to keep my bed cover on while towing with the current air ride because the front shock on the pin box hits the cover. I was thinking about switching to a 20k Reese goosebox so I didn’t have to keep taking my bed cover on and off. What is the ride quality in comparison of the two? My current set up rides really smooth. So it may be worth continuing to remove the cover.

The ride quality of a Goose Box like the part # RP85FR would be pretty close to the same as the Trailair if not a little better since you'd be able to bypass the fifth wheel hitch since hitches have more moving parts which translates into "chucking" or that slightly bump or clunk as your stop or start.
