Why Can't An Electric Pump Be Used On A Valterra Fresh Water Tank

Hi, Questions: Unless the tank is installed on the roof for a gravity feed, it seems the tank is unusable since water is supplied via a pump in RVs. What precludes the tank for use with a pump? The tank wouldnt know a pump is downstream drawing water of course, the tank has to be vented in order to allow it to drain. What am I missing? i.e., do you mean the tank is not designed for pressure? Thanks!!

Yes, RV water tanks like the Valterra RV Water Tank # R8018 can only handle low pressure so they are limited to being used in a gravity fill setup or with a hand pump like # 37297025.
