Can 2022 GMC 3500 Short Bed Tow 2021 Forest River Sierra 3330BH With Gen Y Gooseneck Adapter

Hello, I currently have a 2021 Forrest River Sierra C Class 3330BH 5th Wheel. I replaced the Rhino kingpin with a MorRyde Rubber Pin box and capture plate to fit my 2003 Silverado Superglide hitch. Now I have sold my truck and bought a 2023 3500 GMC Sierra short bed truck and re-thinking my options... I would really like to switch to the Reese Goosebox or Gen Y but am worried about turning radius and cab clearance. I also see Gen Y has 5inch offset adapter that might give more clearance. Lastly, I could get another Pullrite hitch model 4500 which is their only OEM in for that year GM. Appreciate any advice on the subject to help make my decision easier. Thanks

I looked up your 2021 Forrest River Sierra C Class 3330BH and since it has a tapered nose designed for short bed turning clearance and the short bed of your 2022 GMC Sierra 3500 is on the longer side you would be able to get away with a Gen-Y pin box to gooseneck adapter and offset ball and have plenty of turning clearance.

So what you would need is the # GY98GR for the adapter since you have a Rhino box and for the offset ball part # GY43XR and you'd be set. No more heavy fifth wheel hitches to deal with!
