Installing the Pack'Em Rack for Open Utility Trailers on a Trailer with 24 inch Tall Side Rails
Updated 04/08/2014 | Published 04/06/2014 >
Question:
Trailer is 24inch high and there is a piece of conduit that runs down the inside of trailer. this is for wiring of fender lights and rear lights. From what I can see in your pic is that its for a trailer with 12inch high sides. Is there a system you have for 24inch high sides, and what can I do about the conduit.

Helpful Expert Reply:
I spoke to my contact at Pack' Em and he informed me that your best option would be to install the Pack'Em Rack for Open Utility Trailers # PK-6-OP1 on your trailer but to install it about 12 inches from the floor of your trailer. Installing it in this manner would not interfere with the conduit either.
You would need to install each upright post of the # PK-6-OP1 on the vertical posts that attach the top railing of your trailer to the trailer frame. The only issue you might run into is that the spacing of those posts on your trailer may not be compatible with the lengths of your trimmers. You might check to be sure that the distance between those posts would be compatible with your trimmers.
