Expert Reply:
The Quick Links included in the Tow Ready Safety Chain # TR63035 are rated along with the chain itself for 5000-lbs break strength. The working load limit (WLL) is 1650-lbs. I verified this with my contact at TowReady.
We do offer Quick Link connectors as stand-alone items, and in various ratings ranging from a few hundred pounds up to part # C82932 that is rated for 16,500-lbs capacity (and 3300-lbs safe working load limit). You can search our site by putting the term safety chain quick link into the search box.
