The MORryde RV Fridge Tray # MR69UR only latches into the closed position. Since the latches were placed on the front edge of the extendable tray they have no way to latch themselves when fully extended. If you wish to have a way to keep the tray extended I recommend having a small dowel rod cut to length which you can use to prevent the tray from sliding back in.
