Question:

Im switching tow vehicles from a 2016 Subaru to a 2021 Sahara Unlimited Jeep. Plastic Bumper Here is what I think I need based on your help. Can you tell me if Im missing anything. I already have: Blue Ox tow bar BX4370 Demco stay in Play SM99251 Blue Ox 6 conductor I think it is a bx88206 I think I need: Blue Ox Base Plate BX1139 Demco stay in play reinstall SM6270 Wiring bypass BLU79FR I also think I will need a different High/low adapter since the one I have has about a 12inch . I think Ill have to measure the variance once I install the new base plate on the jeep correct? Thank you!

The Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1139 and Blue Ox Tow Bar Wiring Kit # BLU79FR would both be correct for your 2021 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and would complete your wiring and physical connections to the motorhome. Since the brake light switch on your Jeep isn't useable you'll need the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751490 for the indicator light in the Demco SBS Reinstall Kit for Stay-IN-Play DUO # SM6270 to get the brake signal.

The Blue Ox Ascent Non-Binding Tow Bar # BX4370 you have comes with safety cables so you should have everything you need in order to flat tow the Jeep. The only other thing I would recommend would be to install a charge line kit # RM-156-25 to avoid any dead battery issues while you're out. If you motorhome doesn't have a line ran to the 7-way then you'll also need part # RM-156-75.

It would likely be best to wait until the baseplate is installed and then measure the difference between it and your motorhome's hitch height, like you suggested. If you need help finding a high/low adapter then let me know what measurements you get and I'd be happy to find the right fit for you.
