Question:

I have already installed a diode kit for lights on my 2018 Jeep Wrangler JL. If I install this braking system, how will the pressing of the brake pedal in the Jeep affect the brake lights since pushing the brake pedal will turn them on as will the light wiring system plugged into the motorhome.

The Blue Ox 4-diode tow bar wiring kit # BX8848 that you have installed in your JL Unlimited will not cause issues with the brake lights on the Jeep since it will be in Tow Mode when you are flat towing it. This will allow the motorhome to control the lights.

In your 2018 Jeep JL Wrangler Unlimited the Roadmaster BrakeMaster System # RM-9160 will install using a Stop Light Switch kit # RM-751000 which provides a separate "brakes on" signal path back to your motorhome. To use this braking system you will also need the Seat Adapter # RM69FR.
