Recommended Air Bag Helper Springs and Compressor System For a 2024 Chevy Silverado 3500HD Dually

Question:

I have a 5th wheel RV that has a hitch weight of 3,320 lbs. I have a 2024 Silverado HD 3500 Diesel with 8bed. I am looking for your recommendations on air bags and compressor for this set up, thank you.

I recommend installing the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Air Helper Springs # AL57541 on your 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 3500. I find these are some of the best to use especially when towing 5th wheels as you will often get a lot of bouncing on the rear suspension. These air springs add internal jounce bumpers which aid to absorb the bounce where other units will tend to allow the truck to continue to bounce a lot since they rely on the factory shock absorbers to dampen the bouncing.

The Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL74000 is my favorite system. It allows you to adjust the air pressure from either the included wireless remote or from your smart phone using the air lift app. The best feature is the smart manifold which will monitor the air pressure in the air springs while you drive and the system will make changes if the pressure changes by more than 3psi while you are driving. So there is not extra gauges to monitor or adjust while you drive.
