The Lippert Smart Jack Electric Trailer Jack w/ Footplate # LC643589 doesn't really give you much of an option when it comes to troubleshooting so I recommend first checking that it's getting 12 volts with a multimeter # PT89ZR. The only other thing you can do from there is disassemble the head and see if maybe there's a loose connection with the button board. Lippert unfortunately doesn't offer replacement parts for this jack so if anything goes wrong it's a complete replacement every time.
I typically recommend getting away from this jack for this reason and going with one like the Electric Jack w/ Footplate # EJ-3520-BBX, which we're able to get replacement parts for.
