Helpful Expert Reply:
The ST235/85-R15 tire would be about 3-1/8 inches in diameter larger. This will move your tire just a bit more than 1-1/2 inches closer to the inside of your fender. As a general rule of thumb, you will want about 3 inches of clearance between the tire and the underside of the fender when the trailer is fully loaded. If you can maintain that clearance with the larger tires, stepping up to the larger size will work just fine for you.
