Question:
Do you have the height measured from the spring top to the bottom of the frame for the Timbren TFF350SD4 kit for a 2001 Ford Excursion? Currently I have only 4.5 inches as the springs have sagged. Thanks

Expert Reply:
The Timbren Suspension Enhancement, part # TFF350SD4, is intended to assist the front suspension you have on your 2001 Ford Excursion. This kit is for 4-wheel vehicles.
Suspension enhancement is intended to be used on vehicles with suspension that is in good working condition. It is not intended to be used as a replacement for your suspension.
I pulled one of these from our warehouse and took a couple of measurements. The spring measures 3-3/4 inches and the plate it is attached to measures 1/4 inch, so overall the spring and plate measure 4 inches.
If your Excursion is 2-wheel drive, you would need part # TFF350SD2.
If you are looking for suspension enhancement for the rear of your Excursion with either 2-wheel or 4-wheel drive, part # TFREXC4 works for you. The springs on this kit measure 3-3/4 inches and the attach plates measure 1-1/4 inches, so overall it measures 5 inches.
