Features to know about

Stay Level Under Front-End Weight: 3,000-lb Suspension Support

When heavy gear or equipment weighs down the front end, steering and braking can feel off. The Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System adds up to 3,000 lbs of extra support so the vehicle stays level and stable under load. The hollow rubber springs work with the factory suspension to reduce sag and keep headlights properly aimed when carrying or using front-mounted equipment.

Smooth Out Rough Roads: Hollow Rubber Springs Absorb Shock

Bumpy roads and uneven terrain can beat up your front suspension. These Aeon hollow rubber springs act like shock absorbers, taking the brunt of impacts before they reach the cab. They soak up road shock and cushion light loads for a smoother, more comfortable ride while helping extend the life of your factory suspension by preventing bottoming out on rough roads.

Stay Steady in Turns and Off-Center Loads: Independent Spring Action

When cornering or carrying uneven weight, each Timbren spring works on its own to balance support from side to side. This independent action cuts down on body roll and sway so the vehicle feels planted in turns, when swerving, or with an off-center load. The setup helps maintain control and confidence even when your load is uneven or shifting.

Easy Bolt-On Setup: No Drilling Required

Installing load support doesn’t need a full shop. The system replaces factory bump stops using custom-fit brackets and included hardware, all with a simple no-drill bolt-on design. Once mounted above the front axle, each spring stays in constant contact to provide continuous cushioning and support without needing compressors, airlines, or manual adjustments.

by:

For me surprisingly easy to install at 67 years old. Had immediate handling improvement and steering control.

by:

Have them on several trucks now and couldn't imagine running snow plows without anymore.

by:

The front Timbren are working very good. The rear not so good

by:

Install was straightforward. Hardest part was getting the old bump stops out. Sway was greatly reduced on the Interstate and the rock and roll by passing semis was greatly reduced. Wish I had bought these sooner!

by:

Pretty pricey but well worth it. Put these all the way around at the same time as new rear leaf springs on our c7500 topkick and it made a huge difference. It's a top heavy bucket truck and it would rock and roll just turning a corner to the point it was downright scary. Now thats greatly reduced. They also smoothed out the ride especially when loaded more than I expected.
Install was simple, perfect fit. Worst part was grinding out the rivet on the old bracket

by:

These bumpstops really work, they stop the front end vibration before it travels through the shocks and springs, for a smooth ride

by:

I haven/t installed them yet. I think I should have gotten a discount for the age of the "box"s the Timbrens were in. May be a credit ,, Brad

by:

It good but one side with no bump had to be put spacer but the spacer was flat so the bolt did not have a lot of thread so I grind the spacer a bit so it could stay flush otherwise this might solve the problem of outter tire wear that ford transit has will find out soon

by:

I love these things. They are worth the upfront expense. I have them on two ¾'s, one ½, and a minivan for road trips. This particular set is full-time active up front. I have a 2" leveling kit and I'm in em no matter what. Zero complaints though. Solid performance through all aspects. I don't run any front-end attachments.

by:

I have a 2006 Kodiak 2 wheel drive. Timbrin firmed up the front end to much. There in full contact with the spring. I think it to stuff and I might be removing them. The install was straight forward. Parts are as expected and quality of Timbrin is great. Just not enough cush..

by:

Great ordering, shipping time, cost, and supporting information. We added a snow plow and the product did everything as advertised.

Installation was easy. Works great

Noticeable improvementI bought a 2001 Excursion 4X4 with 168000 miles. Of course it had expected wear/tear. The ride had a noticeable sway in turns and the suspension was too loose for my liking. I replaced the shocks and still saw little improvement. I then intstalled this Timbren SES and noticed an immediate difference. The sway is gone and the suspension is much better. It is a little stiffer of a ride, but very acceptable. I bought a 4X4 so that's what I expected anyway. Installation was simple and I didn't even have to remove the tires or shocks to install. Took less than 3 hours to install front and rear sets. I am pleased with the system so far.

by:

Installed even easier than I thought. On my '04 F250(Front), they were a direct swap for the factory bump stops and easily accessible. I installed them to help with a Western V-plow I installed. Don't even notice a drop when the plow is picked up. The Timbrens look to be a very simple and cost-effective way to manage extra weight on your truck.

by:

Easy to put on vehicle, have not hooked a trailer up yet, but clearance to pad is 1/2 to 3/4 inch which should be perfect.

Have towed single and double axle trailer s several times and notice less sag, less sway, and better breaking. With balancing trailers I have a 1 12 of the trailer hitch. Which seems to be perfect for towing.

great good better control, easier to tow single and double axle trailers.

I installed these springs on the front a 2002 Ford Excursion with a 7.3L diesel. The kit has excellent fit & finish. It was very simple, and straightforward to install as well. If you can put a nut on a bolt, and change a tire you can do this. The hardest part was the bolts on the drivers side due to the tight area between frame, suspension, and axle parts. The passenger side was very easy. These replace the factory bumpstops between the framerail, and axle. They have stopped the heavy engine from bottoming out the suspension when hitting severe bumps, and do so without making the ride anymore harsh than before. I definately recommend this product.

  • Recommended Front Timbrens for a 2001 Ford F-350
Hey Thomas. I wouldn't say ones better than the other and they have identical installation processes as far as removing the shock tower assembly. It has to come off for both on your truck. The main differences between the Timbren item # TFF350SD4 and the item # TFF350SD4B is a higher capacity, and one is designed for the 2001 Ford F-350's that have the Ford Snow Plow Prep Pkg. The Timbren item # TFF350SD4 has a 3,000 lbs capacity and is what you'll need if your F-350 does not have the...

  • Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement That Fits 2WD and 4WD 2003 Ford Excursion
Yes, you are on the money with the fits. The Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System # TFF350SD2 is a fit for the 2-wheel drive model of the 2003 Ford Excursion, while the Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System # TFF350SD4 is a fit for the 4-wheel drive model of '03 Excursion. I have added a link to a video review of this suspension enhancement for you to check out. I do want to add that if you were looking for the rear suspension units from Timbren for your Excursion, they...

  • Front Axle Air Spring Kit for Lifted 2004 Ford F-250 4WD
Timbren front axle kits # TFF350SD4 and # TFF350SD4B that fit the stock 2004 F-250 4WD are both considered standard capacity but part # TFF350SD4B does have slightly taller and stiffer springs. Otherwise they are essentially identical no-drill replacement bump stops. But neither of these can work on your truck with 6-inch lift. No Timbren front axle kits are safe to use on a truck with 6-inches of suspension lift. I did call Timbren to confirm this is the case. It may be possible to install...

  • How Much Clearance for Timbren Front SES for 2004 Ford F-350
The Timbren # TFF350SD4 are approximately 3.75" tall. Ideally you want a 1" gap after installation. If it is a little less that is fine they will just engage sooner.

  • Timbren Suspension Enhancement for the Front and Rear of a 2001 Ford Excursion 4x4 7.3L Diesel
The Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System, item # TFREXC4, is only the rear kit for your 2001 Excursion 4x4. For the front suspension you will need the Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System, item # TFF350SD4. These front suspension helpers will definitely help with the large 7.3L motor in your Excursion. Both of these kits will require the removal of the original bump stop but will not require shock or spring removal and do not require any modifications to the original chassis....

  • Timbren Suspension Enhancement For 2001 Ford Excursion
The Timbren Suspension Enhancement, part # TFF350SD4, is intended to assist the front suspension you have on your 2001 Ford Excursion. This kit is for 4-wheel vehicles. Suspension enhancement is intended to be used on vehicles with suspension that is in good working condition. It is not intended to be used as a replacement for your suspension. I pulled one of these from our warehouse and took a couple of measurements. The spring measures 3-3/4 inches and the plate it is attached to measures...

  • Suspension Upgrades for 2004 Ford F-250 4x4 with Air Bags, Overload Springs, and Anti-Sway Bar
The first thing you are going to want to do is make sure that the truck payload capacity is high enough for your 3,500 pound camper. Adding suspension enhancement does not increase the capacity of the truck. It sounds like you have just about everything that you could use to enhance the suspension. Beyond that, all the components that you added to the rear suspension could be putting extra stress on the front. You could upgrade the front coil springs using # SSC-31. Or add some jounce-style...

  • Timbren Front Axle Jounce Spring Kit for 2002 Ford Excursion 4X4
The Timbren front-axle jounce spring kit that fits your 2002 Ford Excursion 4X4, part # TFF350SD4, installs in place of the vehicle's factory bump stops so their installation should be totally unaffected by the Bilsteins. The kit is a no-drill bolt-on installation that uses included custom brackets and hardware.

  • Will the Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System Fit a Lifted 2004 Ford F-250
Yes, you should be able to install the Timbren Front Suspension Enhancement System part # TFF350SD4 on your 2004 Ford F-250 with Old Man Emu ARB Leaf Springs. However, if the distance between the bottom of the frame and top of the leaf spring pack has changed which I can only assume it has then you will need spacers to fill the gap until you have around 1/2" - 1" from the bottom of the Timbren and top of the leaf spring pack. The Timbren spring and bracket will measure 4" tall therefore...

Yes, the Timbren suspension enhancement hollow rubber springs will help stabilize and level your 2004 Ford F-250 Super Duty as well as improve roll stability side to side. The added perk is they are easy to install and require no maintenance. For your 4 wheel drive model the recommended kit for the rear axle is # TFR250SDE (no snow plow equipment). The kit designed for the front axle is # TFF350SD4. I have linked an installation video of the rear kit being installed on a similar vehicle...
