Question:
Will the crossbar running across at the back of the vehicle be hidden once this hitch is installed?

The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e56RR, along with every other hitch that fits your 2023 Toyota Sienna, has a visible cross tube. This means you will see it hanging down across the rear of the vehicle. What sets the etrailer hitch apart from others options is matte black powder coat finish. This gives it more of an OEM look and will help hide dings and scratches.
If you plan on doing some towing you will also need wiring. The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK69FR plugs into the connection point in your rear cargo area. Once installed, you will have a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights.
In order to complete your setup you will also need a ball mount. Check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
