Hooking up takes just a few seconds with the twist-lock attachment. Slide the arms into the receivers, rotate until they lock, and drop in the pin to secure. When you’re done towing, pull the pin, twist again, and pop them out. The straightforward motion makes solo hookups easy and repeatable—no wrestling or extra tools required.
This base plate bolts directly to the chassis with no welding needed. Its sturdy steel build spreads towing forces evenly across the frame to help reduce stress on suspension components. The powder-coated finish resists rust and corrosion so it keeps its strength and clean look through thousands of miles of travel.
The lugs are designed to pair directly with Blue Ox tow bars for a strong, reliable connection. If you’re running a Roadmaster or Demco setup, adapters (sold separately) make it work just as smoothly—RM-031 or RM-031-5 for Roadmaster, DM9523041 for Demco. Integrated mounting points give you a spot to attach an electrical connector plug bracket so your wiring stays neat and accessible up front.
This kit comes ready to bolt up using the included mounting hardware—no welding required. The direct-fit design lines up with factory points on the chassis for a secure mount that’s easy to handle in a weekend garage project. Specs come in at 30-1/2" distance between brackets and 19-1/2" bracket height, so you can plan your tow bar height before hitting the road.

Ive been using the Blue Ox baseplates on my Bronco for about 9 months now and the are great. As stated before they are heavy duty and secure. I have removed and remounted to mount a hidden winch mount...all good. The only negative is that factory tow hooks on the standard bumper are removed.

Installed on my 22 Bronco with standard bumper. Fit fine. For cosmetic purposes I shortened the safety cable tabs about an inch and a quarter so they dont protrude so far. Looks much better and much less noticeable when not in use. I traded that Bronco for a 23 and transferred them over with no issues. Vehicle tows great with them. They dont interfere with ground clearance when on trails off road. I want to invent a winch mounting system that uses these to mount a removable winch when driving off road. Permanent mounted winch interferes with the front facing camera andor radar.
