Question:

I want to use the EXO swing away with the skis and cargo tray but I'd like to add the wheels for the tray into the mix as well so I can load up my gear in the garage and then cart the tray out to my vehicle. Do the wheels need to stay on the whole time or can they be installed with gear in the tray already? I'm worried about ground clearance if the wheels can't be installed with gear already in the tray. Thank you!

To add wheels to the Yakima EXO Swing Away Ski and Snowboard Carrier w/ Cargo Carrier # Y64ZR you just need the kit # Y97VR, which can be installed even with the carrier loaded up! If you jump to the 1:24 minute mark of the linked review video you'll see our video team install the wheels while the carrier is full of cargo.
