Recommended Hitch for a 2010 GMC Savana Cutaway
Question:
Will this fit my 2010 GMC Savana Cutaway? It looks like it has the similar chassis. I went underneath and saw what looked like some starter holes for a hitch. Not sure what other options I have to clear the bumper.

No, it won't but I have a hitch that will. I checked with Buyers Products and the frame's a different width on the newer Savana cutaways so the item # 3371801102 won't work.
Since there are no custom fit hitches for a 2010 GMC Savana Cutaway, you will need to use a universal option. I recommend the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Cross Tube item # 41990 and one of the following mounting brackets:
7" Bolt or Weld-On Bracket Kit item # 4907
16" Bolt or Weld-On Bracket Kit item # 4916
This is a class V hitch with a 2" receiver. Which bracket you will need will depend on how low your bumper hangs. I have linked a couple of diagrams below so you can see the dimensions of the brackets and take a quick measurement to see which ones you'll need.
