Can Metal Toilet Supply Line Nut Fit Dometic 300 Weekender

Question:
Robin...You answered my previous question about Dometic 300 Weekender RV Toilet # DOM64FR replacement. I am in the middle of the install and according to the etrailer install video the inlet fitting should be of the Faucet supply type 0.5 in Pipe Thread. I note that the toilet has a connection made of nylon and all the Faucet supply lines have metal 0.5 fittings. I am unsure about the wisdom of connecting a metal fitting to a nylon one. Is there a supply hose that has a nylon connection available? Need Help to finish install.

You can use your existing supply line with the metal nut on your Dometic 300 Weekender # DOM64FR. However, you want to be careful since it is easy to cross thread when you have a metal nut which will damage the fitting. If you want to get a supply line with a plastic nut instead you can grab one at your local hardware store.
