Will Air Pressure Transfer Between Air Bags With Union Tee Installed

Question:
Im installing the AL57275 on a 2005 GMC Sierra 3500 4WD LB dually and considering adding a tee to the airline so theres only one Schrader valve. However, Im concerned that as I turn into a corner I have a large, heavy truck camper the lean will cause the pressure in the bag on the side of the lean to bleed over into the other bag, negating the stabilizing effect of the airbag. Any thoughts on this?

Installing the Union Tee # AL21838 with your # AL57575 will tie the pressure of the two air bags together. So yes, a shift in a very heavy load like a truck camper will potentially result in air being forced from one into the other. The reason I say potentially is because it depends on the pressure you are keeping in the air bags.
If you have them both at the max 100 psi I would expect full support between the two. If you are keeping them at 95 psi there won't be much room for pressure to shift. However, if you have them at a lower psi there is a higher potential for this to happen and for you to lose some support. Although it would be more convenient to fill them at a single point, it is probably best for your application to keep them separate.
