The Thule Epos # TH99XE will work with a car, truck, SUV, or van. Unfortunately, it will not work with a motorhome or trailer. For a 2-bike rack that can handle heavy bikes and is motorhome compatible I recommend the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack # HLY64FR.

This has rack a weight capacity of 80 lbs per bike and can handle standard and fat tire bikes. It uses padded clamps which can mount to the frame or the seat post allowing it to work with almost any bike. It also comes with a keyed-alike hitch lock, cable lock, and frame clamps to keep your bikes and rack secure.

We have a Class C motorhome, will the #TH99XE fit on it? We have fenders so the Holllywood will not work.

@Patricia technically it will fit the hitch but it is not rated for a motorhome like your Class C so you can't use it. The Hollywood # HLY64FR uses padded clamps so it is actually ideal for bikes with fenders. This doesn't hold the bikes by the wheels at all, it either clamps on the frame or the seat post.

Robin our hitch is 1 1/4 ". The Hollywood says it has to be a 2" and no extender can be used. Do you have another option for us since the Thule Expo is not for motorhomes?

@PatriciaL that is correct, 2" only and no extender. I don't think I've ever seen a Class C with a 1-1/4" hitch so that really wasn't something I considered. What kind of bikes are these? Do you need a particular capacity? Do they have an alternative frame like a step through? Is your 1-1/4" hitch a Class I or Class II? The Hollywood Racks Trail Rider Bike Rack # HR200Z might work. It is a frame mount with hooks and has a capacity of 45 lbs per bike. If you have something like a step through frame you're probably going to have to use an adapter bar like # HRBA-PRO. If you need a higher capacity, or are looking for something else, I will need you to answer all of the questions above so we aren't going back and forth with bike racks that won't meet all your needs.

Robin our 2-ebikes are Specialized Turbo cosmo 3.0. They are step through, 50Lbs each and have fenders. I do not know if our hitch is a class I or II. It is the hitch that came with it. It is a 2017 Winnebago Fuse Class C mororhome.

@Patricia take a look at the hitch and see if it has anything to identify it. That or ask Winnebago, assuming they are the ones that added it. If it is a Class II you can use the # HLY74FR along with a bike adapter bar. It has an 80 lb capacity per bike so it can handle those. If it is a Class I hitch none of those racks go above the 45 lb capacity like the # HR200Z from my last comment. If you can pull the batteries and cut 5 lbs off to get down to 45 that would work. Otherwise your best option would be to swap out the hitch with a Class III that has a 2" receiver.

@RobinH The 1.25 hitch will hold 300 lbs.

@Patricia I'm assuming that is 300 lbs of tongue weight. If it can handle that much it must be a Class II.
