Question:

What is the inside distance of the channel on this hitch? It looks like the Curt ball mount which is 3inch inside the channel. Im asking because I wanted to add a locking hitch pin to the ball mount as well as the hitch receiver and those come with different spans. Thank you

I spoke with Blue Ox who stated that the the inside channel of the Blue Ox Adjustable 2-Ball Mount # BLU75XR is approximately 2" wide. That being said, when you look at the pictures it's clearly about a 1/2" - 1" wider than the 2" shank it's attached to so you'd want to go with a hitch pin lock like the Curt Lock Set for Adjustable Channel-Style Mounts
# C23556, which has 5/8" diameter pins with a 3-1/4" or 4-1/4" span. This will allow you to secure both the shank to the trailer hitch of the vehicle as well as the ball mount section to the channel.
