Where is Brake Controller Install Wiring on 2012 Chevy Tahoe

Question:
I can’t find the wires on my 2012 Tahoe and the port I tried plugging into with the wiring harness the vehicle wouldn’t start, unplug it and it starts just fine?? Can’t locate the wires and already have the seven pin in the back. Help please

Yes I do. Just got it and the wires wasn’t where they so post to be like the pic I found mine higher up under the steering column

Yeah I can’t find mine either beer all over under the steering wheel black can’t found anything but I have the two wire close to the fuse block under the hood ???
