Question:

I ordered the Curt Fifth Wheel Installation Kit for my new dodge ram 3500 figuring they would work with my Reese 16k hitch Reese part # 30047. I have a camping trip planned when I get home from this road trip and I wont have much time to order a new hitch if they dont work so I would like to confirm they would work.

Yes, your Reese 5th wheel trailer hitch, # RP30047, will fit the Curt above the bed rails in installation kit # C16426-204. The rails will accept Curt, Draw-Tite, Hidden Hitch, Husky, Reese, and Valley hitches that fit in above the bed rails. And the hitch will fit in Curt, Valley, Husky, Draw-Tite, Hidden-Hitch and Reese base rails. So no worries, both items are compatible with each other.
